Hi ALL,

I received on 02 February 2016 an expression of interest from the province of Ontario after my EE profile was submitted on Jan.30 2016. However, it's only on August 17 2016 that the immigration office acknowledged receipt of my application file. As per their explanations, they have been facing a high number of applications that tend to cause some delays in the indicated deadline. Notwithstanding, I was asked recently to update and provide some additional documents before final assessment/decision on my file.

With a CRS of 366 points, I am bit worry that my application may face refusal as one of the main requirements for OINP eligibility is a score > 400. Can anyone please share his personal experience about this and advise how my case could be treated. From what I have been reading, only applicants with a CRS 400+ have chances to be nominated.

However, it's worthwhile noting that I applied under the Ontario French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream with outstanding score in the French test TEF. Does it change the game and increases my chances for selection?

Thanks in advance for your support.
