Hi, I got my invitation on 23rd. I have a query. I need to make changes to my designation in my EE profile as per the Employee Reference Letter received from my employer. No changed to be done to the NOC.
should I do it or just submit OINP application with the designation on my reference letter?
Hi, does the designation matter or the roles & responsibilities? In my company, we don’t really care about designations but on the letterhead the one that is in the system gets printed. My CRS score will not change & the roles & responsibilities are accurate to the NOC code 0601.Based on my research, I feel you can still make the changes to your EE profile and when submitting your OINP application provided the designation falls in the same NOC and your CRS score remains the same. Whatever you have filled should match with your documents to avoid discrepancies.
Once you make the changes to your EE profile, it will be transmitted to the province (Ontario).
Both the designation, roles and responsibilities matters a lot. And should match with your experience letter. But if the designation you used in your profile is relatively close to that issued by your company, then it’s fine.Hi, does the designation matter or the roles & responsibilities? My company letter has 'Incremental Sales Account Representative' & my company visiting card says 'Territory Sales Manager'Both the designation, roles and responsibilities matters a lot. I wouldn’t know. But are the designations the same? otherwise its better you discuss this with your company or just use the one from the letter to be on a safe side.My company letter has 'Incremental Sales Account Representative' & my company visiting card says 'Territory Sales Manager'
The NOC is 0601 for Corporate Sales Manager. You think it should be fine?
I understand that but my roles & responsibilities are for NOC-0601 & my visiting card says Territory Sales Manager. I can wrote to my company & get it changed but how can designations always match?Again, “Sales Manager” NOC - 0601
“Sales Account Representative” NOC - 6411
They are not even in the same NOC.
NOC 6411 wasn’t included among NOCs Ontario gave letter of interest. So I would advice you check with your company may be there was a mistake somewhere and to correct that change immediately by using the Corporate Sales Manager which is NOC 0601 on your letter
Yh. It’s better they change it since the roles and responsibilities are for Sales Manager.I understand that but my roles & responsibilities are for NOC-0601 & my visiting card says Territory Sales Manager. I can wrote to my company & get it changed but how can designations always match?
And what if they don’t? Can I give a LOE explaining it?Yh. It’s better they change it since the roles and responsibilities are for Sales Manager.
Yh. That’s the best optionAnd what if they don’t? Can I give a LOE explaining it?
Your NOC relies more on the job duties you performed than the designation name. So, designation is never a major concern as far as the job duties are exactly in order. My company letter has 'Incremental Sales Account Representative' & my company visiting card says 'Territory Sales Manager'

Yes, I will make sure the designation is accurate for all documents. The duties are perfectly aligned with the NOC.Your NOC relies more on the job duties you performed than the designation name. So, designation is never a major concern as far as the job duties are exactly in order.
However, make sure that same designation is mentioned on all the company documents, you will be uploading to OINP.
