OINP HCP Tech Draw 2025

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to get your thoughts on the future of the OINP Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Tech Draw in 2025.

Do you think there will be regular draws this year? If so, what CRS range can we expect for the tech draws? Based on trends from previous years, do you see any major changes in criteria or frequency?

I'd love to hear your predictions, especially if you're closely following OINP or have insights into how things might shape up this year.

Given that PNP quotas have been cut in half don’t expect regular draws as there were only a couple last year. Ontario may focus on job offer streams because then people are living and working in the province or on healthcare/trades like they did last year. Tech is not a priority area anymore.

Lots of unemployed tech workers these days so likely not a priority in the near future.
