Hello All,
I have some questions about filling Ontario Nominee application form:
Sectoin D: Occupation and Education
Thanks
I have some questions about filling Ontario Nominee application form:
Sectoin D: Occupation and Education
Form Asks me to list whatever I did last 10 years. This period included some free lance work. I did not include it as work experience in my CIC profile and I do not intend to claim any points for it. But if I list it, will I have to provide supporting documents? Form says: "Only relevant paid work experience will be assessed". I do not want this freelance work assessed and I do not have any supporting documents. At the same time I cannot leave a gap in timeline.
- Form also asks me "If you intend to work in an occupation which requires licensing, do you have certificate of qualification?
My Noc is 2173 (Software Engineer). In Canada, any occupation with "Engineer" title requires license, which I currently do not have (I haven't been to Canada yet). If I select "No, I do not have a certificate of qualification", Will my application be rejected?
Also as most Software developers/engineers know, the title "Software Developer" and "Software Engineer" are used interchangeably in real world. Companies don't really care what you call yourself as long as you have skills.
Thanks
