OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream Enquiry

Hello today there was draw for OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. Which showed some noc codes which were invited to apply but was curious that in this stream requirement they say it includes Major 72 group but some of noc codes of 72 category were missing in draw. Does that mean there is no one who has express entry profile with those noc codes or OINP doesn't want to invite other than listed in draw?



You must have:
at least one year of cumulative paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) in Ontario Major Groups 72 (excluding occupations under transportation officers), 73, 82, 83, 93 (excluding aircraft assemblers and aircraft assembly inspectors) or Minor Group 6320 (excluding cooks) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC)

OINP, like any PNPs, can pick which NOCs are selected based on industry demand in the province. It will not pick all NOCs in a major group. So you must have the CRS score and NOC. If NOC wasn’t selected, you can look in past draws and see if Ontario has ever selected your NOC.
