OINP Employer Pre-screen Application Timeline

Hello,

My employer has applied for OINP Employer Pre-screen Application in mid April 2016. But we did not receive any letter of acknowledgment saying they received the documents or any letter which has a file number or any information regarding the application. My questions are do we receive any letter of acknowledgment after the submission of the documents or will my employer just receive the Employer Pre-screen Approval letter if they get approved. Can anyone share their timeline with me or explain me what's the process?

My employer filed their pre-screen application on July 2015 and we received the decision in the month of Feb 2016. Decision wasn't good; it was a refusal.
