Dear everyone,

I'm writing with regard to some concerns about my application which I have already sent to Ontario.

I forgot to write "N/A" in some fields which aren't related to my case, such as:

Section(A)/Item(1.a), the following fields:
---------------------------------------------
- List any other names used including name at birth, maiden name, previous married name, aliases and nicknames. Provide details.
- Last Name (family name)
- First Name (given name)
(Explanation: I don't have any other names).

- Section(A)/Item(3), the following fields:
------------------------------------------
For applicants currently in Canada (a copy of your Work permit, Study permit, Temporary Resident Visa, and/or any other Canadian immigration document or entry stamp must be provided with your application package)

-Status
- Please provide the Unique Client Identifier number (UCI) issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, also known as a client ID number.
- Expiration Date of Current Citizenship and
Immigration Canada Document (mm/dd/yyyy)
(Explanation: I'm not residing in Canada).

Section(A)/Item(5), the following fields:
-----------------------------------------
- Mailing Address
Explanation: I Checked to be the same as my current address.

Section(A)/Item(6), the following fields:
-----------------------------------------
- Please list any visits you have made to Canada in the last ten years (use attachment if additional space required).
(Explanation: I haven't been to Canada before).

Section(E)/Items(1,2 and 3):
-----------------------------
(Explanation: Previously I answered that I'm "Never married").

Section(H)/Family Member(1,2,3,4,5 and 6):
-------------------------------------------
(Explanation: I previously answered that I'm "Never married"
and I answered "No" that I don't have dependent family members accompanying me to Canada).

Section(L)/Signature for Common-law partner and Accompanying Dependents:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Explanation: I previously answered that I'm "Never married"
and I answered "No" that I don't have dependent family members accompanying me to Canada). I have signed for myself of course.

(Note: Those fields have no asterix except for signatures of:
Spouse or common-law partner (I answered: "Never Married"), and accompanying dependents (I answered I don't have).

Kindly, I want to know if my application would be considered as incomplete?

And if so, could I re-submit it within 30 calendar days, or should I start any corrective action right away (like re-sending the form again to be attached to my application)?

Regards,

Regards,
I am not very sure but there is a decent chance that your application to be returned as incomplete. Again, like I advised another member, you can try your luck - fill N/A in the sections that are not applicable to you and send them the scanned pages via e-mail. Good luck!

Mark Whisly, I'm in the same soup. Let me know what step you're taking. I'll probably follow the same.

Naraya, I called the Ontario office today and someone replied and told me the following:

It's something dependable on VO who will investigate your application. However, you can write an explanation email to Ontarion stating the problem. I'm still worried about sending such an email, it may cause VO to notice the problem even while it can go smooth without.

Another candidate told me they are strict only to asterix fields, so you are okay..I don't know.

has anyone gotten AOR with fields blank...I don't know!

That's right. Especially when the officers are under pressure to process so many applications, they might straight away reject with our hint. I'd rather wait. If they send back my application, it's fine, I'll resend. It will only be another 4 months of wait, correct?

I also left some non-applicable fields blank when initially applied; when I saw comments from other people, I became worried as well and contacted them on phone. I was told to just wait and see what happens; wether my application would be accepted or returned. Some friends advised me to resend my form electronically to them with all fields completed so I followed their advice. It is over a month I sent them the email, I haven't got any response. My friends are of the school of thought that since they didn't send a reply that it is not acceptable, then it is likely that they have accepted it. I am just open minded waiting to hear from them.

Sorry, did u mean ur email worked and they accepted the pages or not?..I did not understand "My friends are of the school of thought that since they didn't send a reply that it is not acceptable, then it is likely that they have accepted it"!

No, OINP has this rude way of ignoring our emails. I can assure you they haven't even seen your email with the scanned copy. I'm of the school of thought that they see only those emails which contain a candidate's file number in the subject, which all of us waiting for AoR don't have yet.

I cannot say if it has been accepted or not, we just have to wait to see the outcome though I am optimistic.

Well, I have sent many other emails in the recent past (this year) that they replied promptly to, so it is also inconclusive. We are only left with the option of waiting until we hear from them to know the outcome. In any case, the worst thing that can happen is that the application would be further delayed (returned and resubmitted). It is not going to be refused; yet another reason to stay positive!
