OINP at 450-454 - To do or not to do?

Today's draw is a surprise - Good because they've started earlier than expected this year. Good also because the scores have remained steady. Very confusing for those of us between 450 and 455. I received Interest letter on Dec 18, must submit app by Jan 31. What are the rest of you thinking? To do or not to do. It now seems a bit difficult to expect a draw below 455 before the end of the month right?

3. IF not don't miss your PT notification

Your score is 450 + Sooner or later you will get an ITA

During a webinar hosted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on December 16, 2015, a CIC Policy Analyst made some important announcements regarding the short- and medium-term future of Express Entry.

“The number of invitations issued per round is expected to increase as the pre-Express Entry inventory of applications is finalised. In turn, it is expected that the minimum score of those that are invited to apply will drop,” she stated.

The Policy Analyst added that "we expect that in the new year when our rounds start growing — to meet our new levels plan — that the score will reduce."

Thanks MZASAM, that's good advice. I hope I get the ITA directly, save the hassle, extra 3 months and 1500.

To check PT notification, you first have to click on your submitted EE profile. "Check Status and Messages" and then scroll down to the very bottom where you receive messages such as "Express Entry Profile Received". Letter of interest should be in the list of messages.
