Hello All,
I submitted my OINP application through local country's post (from outside Canada, priority mail) on Thursday 21st. The guy said it will take 4-5 days to reach destination. I have been tracking it since then, and last update shown on Canada Post website shows that "Your mail is received by Canada Post". It's a green "accepted" bar. There is no other update. I have no idea where exactly the package is sitting and whether it's moving or not. I think I should have used courier. Is this normal Canada Post behavior?
Another question, once Ontario receives my application, will they acknowledge through email or message that they received the application? I know that they take 90 days to process application. I just want to know that they received and it was not lost or delivered to wrong address. So do they send some kind of confirmation like "We received your package and it will be processed after 90 days"?
