Congrats: To all who received NoM. Wish you all a early PR.

So I know this sounds so negative but I've been thinking...
I am a Research Specialist and I gave my job description etc. for that but the NOC code (as per my lawyer's advice) is that of a Medical secretary (NOC 1243). I have strong ties to ON from studying at the University of Toronto for a year (postbach/no degree) to my Big Brother living in Toronto with a PR. I was wondering.. Since I have not received any ADR or contact via email otherwise, is that a negative sign? The AOR stated that I would be notified of the assessment and decision phase as they reached. What would OINP give a reason for not issuing a nomination? I was thorough with my application and actually followed the Express Entry standard as per my Brother's experience. I could just be a silly goose with anxiety but honestly it's been eating me up for a while. I miss all my friends in Toronto.. I wanna go back ASAP! Any expert opinions? Thanks!

what should I do now?

Well the NOC you have mentioned seems different than the duties and roles assigned to you. you have to prove the roles and responsibilities are matching 2241 NOC. IF it does not match than you have to change your NOC to related duties.

Well so long as your duties as a research specialist match that of medical secretary then you should be fine!

My advise is for you to try to relax and just wait... It's still way too early for you to worry as only very few March applicants have been processed.

With such strong ties to Ontario they probably wont care too much about your PoF as they'll assume you brother can help you out, so it really wouldn't surprise me if you get a direct NoM without ADR.

Don't worry, just have a little patience!

Good luck and speedy NoM.

Hello friends,
I am new to this forum. I have one query:
I submitted my profile on 28th feb. But since I recieved no response for next few days and also did not know that Ontario has stopped sending PT notification, so I resubmitted my profile on 19th March. On May 9th we came to know that Ontario is not accepting applications in their pool.

So my question is that will Ontario send PT notifications to people who were in pool till May 9 and will then start accepting applications? OR will we be in the same boat as all other new applicants?

No one knows when Ontario will begin issuing PT NOIs again... Since the haven't yetr processed 50% of the 2016 candidates I suspect it will take some time yet.

Ask again in Jan 2017 and we should have a clearer picture.

Quite a slow down for March (on the ADR front) and FEB hasn't really picked off from a NoM point of view...

I'm very happy that Jan is going along quite nicely, however, I really wanted to see some progress in FEB and MAR... :(

I guess everyone is working on JAN... It's after all the biggest month with 180 applicants on this forum.

Steady stream of nominations for Jan applicants continues. Good news for everybody.

Guys would u say Feb and march applicants together are equal to Jan applicants?

More or less... I think there are about 10 more candidates in the Feb and March group when you compare to Jan.

I will say less than the Jan applicants. OINP stopped PTs around 16th Feb so I believe there will be less applicants.

On the forum it's 182 (Jan) vs 193 (Feb + Mar)... Like I said, I believe the forum represents quite a good sample of the applications as a whole so when you compare Jan vs Feb&Mar it's quite even I think.

March applicants who have been waiting for more than 20 days after their submission of ADRs, kindly report you progress here.
