Yes I know that.. and I shouldn't be asking that.
My insurance is over and they told me they won't insure me anymore.
I don't want to go back to my country where I have free health care too, I don't wanna leave him =/
But I am afraid I might have something weird happening in my bellow belly region.

Then you will need to pay out of pocket for any medical help you receive

Thank you.. that's crazy

Here's the official answer:

Where fraud is suspected, cases are referred to the Ontario Provincial Police Anti-Rackets Health Fraud Investigation Unit for investigation and possible prosecution.

Under the Criminal Code of Canada Section 380, a person convicted of fraud exceeding $5,000 could be imprisoned up to 10 years. Restitution may also be ordered under the Criminal Code.

Go to a walk in clinic it will be much cheaper .

Doesn't your husband's OHIP card have his photo on it? Do you and your husband look like identical twins?

Some of us still have the old red and white cards. I know I do.

The walk-in clinic I've been using charges $100 a visit. It's a small price to pay to avoid being slapped with criminal charges for fraud. :p

There are some community organizations that offer free health care for those that are new immigrants... but they must only b for routine things

Being convicted of health card fraud will probably kill your PR application as well through criminal inadmissibility.

Can i get an ohip if what i received from IRCC is "this confirms that your application has been received by IRCC"?

Thank you
