I believe that the health card comes 3 months after we become a permanent resident.

My question is does anyone know of ohip reimburses for medical treatment received from before those three month and upto how long before?

The OHIP card does not automatically come to you. You are eligible to apply for it 3 months after legally residing in Ontario.

No, OHIP does not cover medical costs during that 3 month period or any time before your coverage is approved. You are expected to have private health insurance for that time period.

It is different if you already have OHIP as a temporary worker.
