Hi everyone,

I really need your help. Mine and my husband’s work permit is expiring on Aug 24. He applied for PR without including my name to meet the required score.. so now his score is 470 and todays pr draw cut off is 460.. so after submitting documents he can apply for bridge work permit. So my questions are

1. Can i get a bridge work permit?
2. Can i renew my health card. I am now on my third trimester. My due date is oct 24.

Plz plz help.

CF is right.
1. You cannot.
2. No.
IMHO, I think that it is possible that applying for the spouse work permit may jeopardize your husband's EE application as he didn't declare you as a secondary accompanying applicant.

I understand your struggle, but this is a bit hard to deal with.

Unfortunately you will have to pay for your prenatal/postpartum care and delivery once your OHIP runs out. You will need to arrange payment with the doctor and hospital. Vaginal delivery with epidural seems to be 7-10K and c-section around 15-20K. All depends on the hospital and whether there are any complications. This is unfortunate situation.
