Hi there,
I am an american citizen and my husband is a canadian citizen. We got married 1 month ago, we are in the process of applying for PR for me to move to Canada. We just found out we are pregnant. If I am not a PR by the time I have the baby and the baby is born in the US, will the baby have OHIP right away? or do I need to have a pediatrician in the states and do the well child visits in the US until the baby can get OHIP?

No if the baby is born in the US it will not get OHIP right away. You will have to apply to get proof of his/her citizenship through the embassy and then apply for OHIP when you permanently land in Canada and then you have to go through the 3 month wait period.
