Hello everyone, I want to tell you my story and ask some advice, because I don't know what to do now. My GF tried to come to Canada to visit me but officer refused her and sent her back home. The reason is that they found out that she is coming to visit me (she never mentioned that and said she just wants to travel). They found out that I exist and sent her back home. I had a chance to talk to visa officer, he was pissed off that she was lying to him and he said he would have approved her if she wold have told him the truth. Now she is back home and I am trying to find a way to bring her back. I convinced visa officer to leave her visa as is and her visa is valid and not cancelled, she is still able to come. This officer told me that if she intends to come again, we have to tell the truth and everything will be okay. However, I doubt it's gonna be easy now. I don't what documents I should prepare. He said I need bank statement and proof that I have a job here. I can do that. What else do I need? What should we say on the border this time? Is there a chance for her to come back at all? They noted everything that happened today in her file too. I am foreign worker here and I can prove that I can pay for rent and groceries (I am currently on implied status and waiting for my PR; can't work but do have job offer and enouth savings to live until my PR decision is made). But I don't know what else do I need to bring? Do we need to buy return flight tickets? Prove that she has ties in Russia? Does she need to have a job? (she quit her job to visit me and we intend to stay until my PR decision is done).

- Yes, she most certainly needs a return flight. Since she has already been refused entry once, she should keep the trip to a reasonable length (e.g 2-3 weeks).
- Yes, having a full time job is a good way to show ties to the home country. It's too bad she quit hers. If possible, she should get a full time job before she attempt to come for another visit. I would obtain a letter from her employer confirming that she has been given a specific amount of time off and when she will return to work.
- Make sure she doesn't pack like she's moving. If she comes for 2-3 week, she should pack accordingly.
- She needs to show that she has funds to support her stay in Canada.
- I would bring any other proof she can that shows ties to her home country (e.g. property ownership or rental).
- I would definitely wait several months before she tries coming to Canada again.

So she needs to prove that she intends to come back? What if our point is that we want to live in Canada and get married after I will receive my PR and honestly confess that we want to have our future in Canada, but now we just want to live together some time to see if that is going to work out?

Yes - of course she needs to prove that she plans to return home. Visitor visas are not for living in Canada. I'm sure one of the main reasons she was refused entry this time was because the officer suspected she was going to try to use the visitor visa to live in Canada.

She needs to look and act like someone who is a tourist when she is arriving - otherwise she can expect another refusal.

I have another question: if my GF will get another refusal due to any reasons (either they won't believe her in general or they will consider that she doesn't have enouth ties in her country so they won't believe that she is going to leave) what is going to happen? Should we expect deportation or ban? Or just another allowed to leave form?

It's impossible to say. Sometimes when you are refused entry they also cancel your visa and/or issue an exclusion order that bans you from reentering for a full year.
