If any one of you have applied for a study permit and want some guidance or want to ask general questions about procedures feel free to ask. I have gone through tremendous amounts of information on the CHC websites and have done all my research. Please know that I can only offer limited guidance on what to submit and what to expect.

Where did you apply from? What is your visa office?

Don't go by others stats. Not all of them are valid posts. I don't think anyone can get a SP in 3 days. Its impossible. It takes more than a week to create your file and initiate the CAIPS process.

Did you have a past application pending or did you apply for the first time?

you cannot get a visa in 3 days. It's just not possible unless you had a past application in progress. I saw your timeline on your profile, you had a previous application filed as well. People who apply first time can never get a visa issued in 3 days. The lowest possible time frame is 2 - 3 weeks for countries from where no one goes to canada.

Nameless , seems you need to work more hard and you are saying that getting visa in 3 days and also saying that those who got in 3 days are fake, but we have two live examples here, so better learn more hard and then offer help to others ?

Hi I have one question. I got loan from SBI, but there is a name of the third party guarantor in the sanction letter. Does it mean that I have to write third party guarantor's name in the Study permit questionnaire? The third column says that "Complete the following chart with regard to a) your parents and b) any other individual, including yourself, who is a primary financial support for your program of studies, where applicable."

Is third party guarantor a primary financial supporter?

You're getting me wrong. I said not all posts here are genuine. Now you are accusing me of calling someone fake. 3 days is impossible to get a visa on a new file. Why don't you e-mail cic and ask the same? Instead of accusing people here have the patience to listen to some sane advice. At this time when your visa is in process i know things can be difficult to understand.

Are your studies being supported fully on the loan? Whos paying the most of your tuition? If you have more than one sponsor then place the name of the one paying the most of your tuition on the cic form. You also need to make another copy of that specific page and list the secondary sponsor which would be the person offering you a loan or the one taking a loan for your fee.

Primary sponsor is the one who pays most of your tuition. So if your parents are paying more than the loan then they are primary.

A very good question. I hope nameless is able to answer this! In addition to this, what if the Univ is funding the student, does it mean the professor's name who is providing the assistantship should be on the list?

In case the uni offers you support or scholarship, the name of that sponsor should be on the form who will pay your air tickets and part of your tuition. If everything is paid by university then list your parents as sponsor for air tickets, monthly allowances , personal expenses. Never include the name of your professor as sponsor. And make sure you include a detailed letter with the official support letter from university. You still need to show funds for trivial expenses like sanitary, food, emergency funds etc.

Well how do you think would a student then mention the professor's annual salary in CAD and in INR? I mean assistantships come from a supervisor's research account. This is a section to be filled too. I doubt if this table is relevant to third parties!

I told you that you don't need to mention university sponsorship because the letter which offers you sponsorship is included. I got university sponsorship but i did not list the university or the professor as sponsor. I listed my parents as primary sponsors. University has nothing to do with your cic application because your offer of admission will include the funding amount and it is understood that the remaining amount would be funded by your parents or loans or whatever. That remaining amount after the deduction of university funding needs to be listed.

When they ask you the total cost of your program on the cic form, include the amount you need to pay after deducting university sponsorship and then show funds accordingly. Read both my posts again.
