offer letter?acceptance letter

heya guys its my first post here.I got admission in project management post grad dip in centennial college for the fall 2012.I got unconditional offer letter in may and I paid the first sem fees from my pocket and got a acknowledgement email from the college for the same.I havent recieved any other document after that, i am just wondering what is acceptance letter ??.Just want to apply for visa asap as i am through with loan process and everything.Can some please let me know what is acceptance letter or I am fine to apply with the offer letter and the fee receipt.Sorry its a bit silly question but i am really confused :-\

thanks ziasaheb and nawtyp.i was going through checklist and its says acceptance letter and it send my alarm bells ringing as I am already running late,btw you guys cleared my doubt that LOA and offer letter is same thing,so thanks again

Just for a clarification, email the college and ask if they provide LOA separately..!!
In my case(Niagara College), I received my offer letter stating all the details but it was mentioned "Offer Letter" and only once I pay the First term fees they will issue the "Letter Of Acceptance".. and after I paid the fees, they send me a detailed LOA..!!
It might be different in ur case..!! better to check with the college..!!

was the acknowledgement letter that u received was for tuition fees payed?

the LOA that we all received had all the conditions and info of the offer made to us e.g;

1-full name
2-dob
3- student id
4- course name
5- starting date
6- degree completion time limit
7- tuition fee per semester
8- condition of admission (conditional offer)

etc. things like that.....its a long 3 page letter

If u are unsure, it is best that u immediately either call or email the university! these guys are very co-operative and efficient in replying so dont hesitate contacting them even if u have to ask them the same thing multiple times.....

Just for your info, i first received a soft copy of the LOA through email and then i was mailed the 2 copies of LOA through post after a month or so. One copy was for the visa office (the one that is asked on the checklist, that u mentioned) and the second is our personal copy.

Almost all of us have been issued LOA in the same manner

before that i got LOA which stated the course start finish dates,sem fees and all info you just written.i checked it again and it got 2 copies one for visa office and my personal copy which i can keep.I just got confused at the first place because it says offer letter so i thought acceptance letter is some thing different.....bit dumbo on my side but you guys cleared by doubts,so I am going to apply on monday hopefully..best of luck to all of you
