Does anyone know with absolute certainty what the deal is with working full time during the transition period between off-campus work permit to post-graduation work permit?
186 (v)/(w) seems to indicate it's ok to work full-time during regularly scheduled breaks
But a page titled "Study permits: Off-campus work" on the CIC site states that "Students must hold full-time status during the academic session prior to, as well as subsequent to, their scheduled break." (Meaning that it's only a scheduled break if you're enrolled in school before and after the break)
However!!
Operational Bulletin 193 (also on the CIC site) states that ... "They can continue to work under the Off-Campus Work Permit provided that they hold both a valid study permit and a valid off-campus work permit. Employment during this transition period can be full time."
So... Can people who have finished their programs work full time until they start the PGWP application? Does anyone actually know? (Not speculation?)
