OFF-CAMPUS WORK PERMIT HELP NEEDED!

Hello,

I completed my masters in engineering. I am a fresh graduate, in-fact still waiting for my convocation. I have a valid study permit and a valid off-campus work permit valid till Aug 2014. If I got my results on Sept 4,2013 and my convocation is on Nov 1st,2013 till when I am allowed to stay in Canada?

More important I just moved to Alberta 2 weeks ago and working full time for odd job for a week almost, I have one more offer for a contract job that is part time. Am I eligible to do one full time job with 35 hours/week and the other contract job that would not be more than 16 hours/week on my off campus work permit till my post-graduation work permit is issued?

Reply anxiously awaited since my contract is awaited to be signed by the company.

You are eligible to stay within canada for three months right from the your final result is posted online..meanwhile you can work with your off campus work permit.but dont forget to apply for pGWP within three months from the date your final result is posted...

Hi there,

Congratulations on your completion of Masters program. As you have a valid Off Campus Work Permit (OCWP), your status is good and you can work full-time - as you're done with studies. Also as per CIC, you can use OCWP as a transitional permit while you apply for your Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) - which you already have.

So just make sure to return back your OCWP to CIC when you get your PGWP. Later, you can apply for Ontario Provincial Nominee Program under Opportunities Ontario under any of the options available. More info can be found here:

My confusion is I am already working full time, I need to know can I work part time contract job along with the full time job on off-campus work permit?

You're welcome! About that particular question, I am not quite sure about it, but check the below website:

I suggest you should call them and ask that particular question.
