Hey Guys, is there anyone active on this forum whom received their PR already and had a full year of experience only with their OCWP after graduation and got approved?
I recently got my GCMS notes and seems that the first officer sees this as a concern, indeed I started working on my OCWP after graduation (was waiting for the Post grad at that time).
So my full year of experience is more like 2 months on OCWP (AFTER GRADUATION) and 10 on Post Grad.
I did go through the immigration act to see if the OCWP qualifies or not, but there is no clear interpretation on this topic.
P.S Also I did read a lot of posts on this forum and most of the are 50/50 that it counts/does not count.
P.S2 I am sure they will try to enforce this part and deny the PR as per this section of the immigration act
87.1 (3)
(a) any period of employment during which the foreign national was engaged in full-time study shall not be included in calculating a period of work experience;
But it does not state anything about experience gained on an OCWP after graduation :/ Tricky old CIC!
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
