To answer your query, authentication is NOT REQUIRED for the NBI, just make sure to append your finger print on the original NBI before you submit to the Canadian Embassy and remove the personal copy page. Good luck to your application!!!!

@ Luxur, are your living in the UAE or in other Middle East country??? Kindly update if you receive your Passport Request from the Embassy since we have the same position and almost the same case. Thanks!!!!
