OCI (Overseas citizen of India) card for kids - should we wait for our citizenship process to finish?

Me and my wife are Canadian PR. My kids were born in Canada and hold Canadian passports.
We applied for our citizenship few months ago. Though we had planned on applying kids OCI card soon, we couldn't find time and it got delayed.
Meanwhile our citizenship application got processed very fast and now we are scheduled for oath ceremony end of the month.
Can we submit the kids' OCI application while we are technically still Indian citizens (this week or next)?
Or is it now best to wait for our citizenship and passport issue to complete?

You can do it both ways. There is no best way.

Wait for your to obtain the citizenship and the surrender your Indian citizenship first and then apply for OCI for all of you together. This way you have to deal with BLS only once
