Here is the situation:
my daughter's Indian passport already expired last year & without renewing it, we proceeded with canadian citizenship which is in progress & we are just waiting for Oath invitation after completing our test in Feb'21.
Now the question is: Assuming we get our Canadian passport & we do not have any travel needs to india in mean time, what are the implications if we need to travel to India after getting our canadian passport? I mean for OCI, am i supposed to have a valid Indian passport for my daughter or we can still get OCI with valid canadian passport (expired indian passport)? Trying to understand if expired Indian passport by any chance has any implications or issues?
