I am seeking urgent guidance regarding my OCI renewal application submitted on
12th December at the Mississauga office. I opted and paid for the
Premium Lounge Service, and at the time of submission, I was assured that everything was in order. However, about a week later, the status of my application showed
"Incomplete/Incorrect Data."
I have tried to contact BLS by email and phone multiple times but have received no response. I also raised an escalation ticket, which mentioned a requirement for a
"Voter ID Declaration."
After conducting my own research, I learned how to cancel my Voter ID through the ECI website by submitting
Form 7 online. However, I encountered another issue: my Voter ID does not include my surname. I have been trying to reach the Mississauga office for clarification, but no one is answering calls or responding to emails, despite having paid for the premium service.
My questions are as follows:
- After submitting the cancellation request (Form 7) online, what is the next step I need to take?
- How and where should I submit the Voter ID Declaration Form to BLS?
- Is there any alternative contact method for the Mississauga office or BLS to address this issue promptly?
I trusted that the premium lounge service would provide better support, but I am facing significant challenges in getting any response or resolution. I would appreciate any advice or assistance from anyone familiar with the process.
