Occupation list of 2014 for PR visa

Hi All,

I am willing to apply for PR this year. Me and my husband are working in IT industry. I couldn't find my occupation( Network Admin ) and my husband's occupation ( Software Tester ) in last year's occupation list.

1. Are these skill sets been removed permanently or it is based on skill set demanded by private organization for the current year?

2. Any chances of getting these occupations added by HRDC/ESDC of Canadian government in 2014 occupation list?

There is no guarantee CIC will reopen the occupation list in 2014. It's quite possible they will wait and only start accepting new applications in 2015 when the EOI process is implemented.

If they do reopen the occupation list in 2014, it's impossible to say which occupations may be on the list.

It is quite likely there would be no FSWP 2014.

On the other hand CIC has already declared that they will be implementing EOI system starting in Jan 2015.
