Hi,
I currently have an active profile in the Express Entry Federal Skill Worker program. My experience in FSW is a researcher and my role now is a software engineer. Unfortunately, my application for the Alberta Tech Pathway was rejected with the reason being "Primary occupation in Express Entry profile does not match current occupation/job offer occupation."
I am now seeking clarification on whether applying for an Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) application requires alignment between the occupation specified in the Express Entry profile and my current occupation, or if there is flexibility in this regard. I hold a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) and have been employed in my current occupation for over six months.
Thank you in advance for your guidance.
