i am MBA-Finance and one of my experience is as a "Loan Credit Executive" for 2 yrs and 4 months. The duties of my jobs are as under

-Scrutinize the loan applications of personal, business and mortgage customer.
-interview the loan applicants.
-Asses the loan applicants status and his creditworthiness.
-complete credit and documentation.
-approve the loan application if that is within my empowered limit.
-•Prepare statements on delinquent accounts and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.

Now the question is "Credit Executive" position is over and above to "Credit officer" and under to "credit Manager" like at bottom level it comes "Credit Officer" then Credit Executive" then "Credit Manager" likely.

Kindly confirm which NOC code will be applicable to my this experience ??

I think your occupation do not fall in 38 occupations. Visit HRDSC site to find your NOC.

You could be looking at something on this page: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Occupations.aspx?val=1

If you need to be on the list of 38, you would have to check if you fit this one: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Profile.aspx?val=0&val1=0111 or this one: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Profile.aspx?val=1&val1=1111

From your duties it seems to me that you would be a better fit to http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Profile.aspx?val=1&val1=1232

Thanx Leon,

Duties are also matching to code 0122 but this is not manager post. duties are same as manager but job title is "Credit Executive" and not Credit Manager and there is no such job title on hrsdc site. At the same time this position is one step sinior from the Credit Officer (1232).

so which is to be consider and how this will be assess by the CIO ???

agree with leon, job duties seem to match 1232.

i also fail to see how "Loan Credit Executive" is "one step sinior from the Credit Officer (1232)" other than the title, of course. seems like a match to me.

if i were you, i am not sure if i'd like like to try my luck in the Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations), probably not. i would probably look for a position as a Manager in a smaller bank / firm based on 2 years exp and MBA, and then apply for the Managerial NOC in a year. that would probably be my approach.

Yes, 0122 could fit too but you do not recruit personnel and identify training needs, do you? I think if you try to claim any managerial occupation, they might look at that. However, your NOC is not really important unless you are claiming to be one of the 38 most wanted. I do not think CIC cares much if you apply under 0122 or 1232 because they are both skilled but neither of them is on the 38 most wanted list.
