Occupation and Job title confusion

Dear friends,
I am worry very much about the following:
I have the mismatch in my very old work permit application, and my new EE application.
I had been working at company A in my country many years ago. The position was not brief as it combines bookkiping, finance, management, and other duties...Even in my native language its name is strange.

In my work permit which I filled in myself and translated everything myself I indicated my occupation in the fieald of "activity/occupation", not the job title. And I translated it as manager (In my language manager is not the Director, it is the person who control the process, orginize, and its modern word is used very often). I also added the CV, where I described my duties in general.

In my EE application I need to put my title in personal history, as I dont ask for points for this experience. But I got the reference, and my title is not the manager, it is spesialist of finance and treasury. I am going to put it, and to add the explanation letter, and attach the referencem to confirm my occupation in finance, and to proove I was eligible for the work permit, and duties from my CV are consistent with my reference duties. Even more: specialist title is closer to the intended occupation (Assistant position in bookkiping), than my Manager title.

But Still I am worry very much, what to put in the explanation letter.
And if this was the misrepresentation in my very old application, I hope it was not material.

Did I have right to put the name of occupation/profession/trade to my application instead of the job title.
Did I have a rigrt to translate it myself in such a way, and to interpret it in such a way.

Please, comment this a very big problem.
Thank you!

The letter of explanation that you provided should give enough context and information for your application. Don't worry too much yet.

Dear K.H.P, thank you for the reply.
Please, let me know, what would you recommend me to focus on in my LOE?

What should I indicate from the following, which is truth:
1. I indicated the occupation name in old application, not a title.
2. The duties from old cv and new reference describe the same occupation, and can confirm the complexity of my profession. It is not brief accountant, bookkeper or manager...
3. "Manager" can have different meaning in my language and English...
4. It was semantical translation of my profession...
