Obtained visitor record on PGWP. Is my PGWP invalid?

I tried to apply for a TRV but accidentally applied visitor record extension instead. I submitted multiple cancellation requests because a visitor record extension could make me lose my pgwp. IRCC acknowledged the cancellation request months ago, but they still approved the application.
