Hi guys, happy Friday to all...My file is in the Niagara falls office and I got a decision made yesterday. Is the oath scheduling and administering dependent upon the processing office/file location?

How long does it take from DM to oath these days?

3 to 6 months from DM to Oath currently... and yes, the Oath scheduling depends on your processing office.

At what point does your local office take full control of your application? Right after AOR?

Pre-pandemic I believe this was the case. During the pandemic, I believe most files are being processed centrally at Sydney, NS, with some collaboration with local offices for the test and oath.

Their announced target is to receive oath invitation 4 months after the file is approved. Some get it before, and some after. It's office- and officer-dependent
