Oath Ceremony Invite for a non-primary applicant

Hi.. I am in a fix with the recent update from IRCC. We applied for citizenship as a family application with me being the primary applicant. After almost a 2 year wait time, my wife has received her email with date for her Oath Ceremony which is great news. However, neither me or my son have an update. Also, the status of the file for my wife has changed matching to the letter and our file status still remains the same. Oath Ceremony - 'Not Started'.

This is confusing and we tried reaching IRCC & Service Canada but in vain. We are not able to get through to an agent. We have sent email and no response. Did anyone experience a similar situation as I did and if so, what was the resolution?

Once in the system, all individuals follow their own path for processing. Perhaps your’s / son’s criminality and /or prohibitions are not completed yet. In their efforts to clear the backlog, they are probably not holding back family members for the others. What does your tracker say?

Per previous post by a member, the kid will be automatically attached for the oath to the first parent who takes oath.
So call them to confirm. Also make sure to include him during the oath too(while talking to the coordinator during the zoom call).

Thanks guys about the kid clarification. My status still shows 'Not Started'. So I guess I will end up waiting for my application to flow through. I was of the opinion that it happens at the same time for a family. I guess it is not the case, though it is a family application.

So, the wait continues............!
