I'm vague & use weird notation. This is to protect my privacy.
I go to school in BĆ and will graduate next year. I'm doing a bachelor's so I expect to get a PGWP.
I did an internship with a tech company in Qu3be¢. (They have one office and it's in QÇ). They were happy with me and asked me to come back once I graduate.
My coworkers at the company were amazing and I learned a lot. I'd like to accept their offer. But at the same time my priority is to secure a PR as quickly as possible, because this will give me much more flexibility with my career. Career freedom/optionality is my north star.
If I want to prioritise that while working with this company, I think I have a few options:

If I want to prioritise that while working with this company, I think I have a few options:
- Stay in BĆ and work remotely for the company. Apply for a PR under the CEC program once I've amassed a year of remote work experience.
- Not sure if remote work counts for the BĆ CEC -- I'm assuming it does.
- Move to QÇ and work in-person for the company. Apply for a PR under the CEC once I've worked for a year.
- One of my anticipated problems with this plan is that, per the CEC page, you must be planning to live outside of QÇ if you apply under the CEC, since QÇ selects its own immigrants. I think that if I applied under the CEC while living and working in QÇ, it'd be hard to claim that I don't plan to live in QÇ in the future. I mentioned this to a family friend who recently completed the immigration process, and they seemed to think there'd be no such issue (I could simply say I plan on leaving, and e.g. working remotely).
- Move to QÇ and work in-person. Apply for a PR under the QÇ provincial system(something like a CSQ, etc.).
- Am I right in assuming that this would take significantly longer than if I were to apply for a PR from BĆ? If so, is the increased time due to the fact that I'd have to work for longer before applying for my PR, or because my PR would take longer to process once I apply, or both?
- Do some kind of hybrid thing. Move to QÇ upon graduating and work there for ~5 mos. Then move back to BĆ and work remotely for ≥ 7 months.
- This is appealing because I'd be able to learn much more quickly by working in-person, while also still technically residing in BĆ once I've worked for a year, which is ideal for PR purposes.
- Is this actually feasible? Would I be able to do this and then apply for a PR in BC under the CEC after around a year, or would switching provinces mess things up for me?
