Hello,

One of my friends just submitted his passport and documents along with his family's in person at NYC Canadian Embassy. He did not get any receipt from the lady at the window. He is a bit worried about tracking the status of his visitor visa application. Can somebody please help him with a contact number or an email.

Contact : (212) 596-1628 option 3, But it is very unfortunate that nobody lefts the phone , Please try for at least 5 times at the same time so that someone will pickup and explain them very precisely.

Just one q: I am also planning to submit visiting visa application for family in-person at New york. Do I need to take for entire family or Can I submit alone.

Is there any notice at new york consulate that no passport return in hands? Please advise as your friend aleady submitted in the consulate.
