I applied as a registered Nurses in June 2014, assessment pending since March. Frustrated from endless wait and gave them a call to find out whats wrong 
The simple answer was Nurses and Teachers are the much slower ones to process. When asked about any clue about further processing of the application, They had no answer for that
SO THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS:-
CONCENTRATE ON PLAN B IF YOU HAVE ONE, IF YOUR ONLY GOAL IS TO SETTLE IN CANADA
MPNP WILL ONLY CLEAR THE APPLICATIONS FOR NURSES AND TEACHERS UPON THEIR DESIRE, CREDENTIALS AND ATTRIBUTES ARE SECONDARY FOR THEM
