Hello,

I am coming over to Canada in February on a work visa as I start work for a company in Alberta.

my wife and kids are joining on a visitor visa. My eldest has just turned 2. My question is, if he is still on a visitors visa after 12 months would he be able to join a nursery or Canadian equivalent? Or would he need PR through me and his mam?

He can certainly join a nursery on visitor status. I would recommend that you start looking into this now and get your name on a waiting list. Depending on your location, there can be wait times for spaces.
