Nurse test requirements from U.S. to Canada

If you are a Registered Nurse in the states and thinking about immigrating to Montreal, QC, do you have to retake the nursing boards if you already took and passed the NCLEX in 2016. I read Canada started using the same NCLEX as the US in 2015. This person has been working as an RN for the last 3 years at one of the top hospitals in the U.S. Aside from that, how does one go about getting a job at a hospital in Montreal while being outside the country?
