Dear all,
recently I submitted my application under the Express Entry System (Federal skilled worker programm).
At the moment, I applied as a single applicant since I am not married and since I do not have children. All information given are true so that I don't have to worry about misrepresenting myself.
But my situation will change in the near future since my girlfriend (who is a canadian citizen) is pregnant and the baby is supposed to be born by the end of August 2017. The child will be born outside of Canada, but since the mother of the child is a Canadian citizen, the child will be allowed to have the Canadian citizenship as well.
In addition, my girlfriend and I would like to get married within this year. Since I am obliged to inform CiC about every changes, I will update my application and add the child to my information as a first step. But since the child will be a Canadian citizen anyway, there is no need to add the child as an applicant under my Express Entry application.
My question is now: Even if the baby will not be part of this application, will the number of family members go up to two? So that I will need to proof funds for two family members? How will it be once I get married? My future wife is Canadian. Will I have to provide proof of funds for three people although in the end I will still be the only applicant for PR?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Best regards,
Rafael
