I am applying for provincial nomination for Nova Scotia from outside Canada. I want to confirm whether Nova Scotia consider only the continuous experience or they accept scattered experience within past 6 years.
In my case, I am applying under NOC 1114. However I have done 1 job in past 6 years which falls under different NOC. Problem is that this job was between two positions that I held that are eligible. To demonstrate, following shows positions I held along with the period and their NOC classification:
2015-Present - NOC 1114 job
2014-2015 - NOC 1114 job
2013-2014 - NOC 1113 job (which is not relevant)
2012-2013 - NOC 1114 job (relevant but i am not sure if it will be counted due to not being continuous with other positions I held)
Furthermore, I would also like someone to kindly provide clarity on point calculation for work experience. Currently they award 11 points for "2-3 years experience" and 13 points for "3-4 years experience". My question is, if my experience is between the range for example 3 years and 2 months. Do I get 13 points or 11 points?
Thanks in advance.
