Hello Everone,
I got married last month and my wife is in Canada as a visitor. We have gathered all the documents and completed the paperwork for her Inland application. We are planning to send the application package by next week. couple of questions I have :
1. My wife is an Indian citizen and she was born in Qatar. She has a Qatari Id which is valid until May, 2017. Should I mention this in 'IMM008' under 'National Idendity Document'? I am confused as I saw some posts in the forum which says that a NID is for Citizens of a country, which my wife is not. Or can I check 'NO' ?
2. She did not do an upfront medical examination as I read in the forum that CIC will request for a 2nd medical test after an year. Is this true in all the case? From the current timeline, It will definitely take over an year for CIC to process her application.
your timely response is greatly appreciated.
