Hi guys. I applied for PR on September, 8, 2019 , for me, my wife and 4 kids, through PNP Paper Based Inland (Vancouver, BC). Currently (Jan. 2021) my Progress bar shows 82%, expected completion by April 19, 2021. Please advise how is your progress doing and your experience for a similar application date, as I feel my process is taking way to long!

Hello, For our EE Profile - Residence USA
We had a AOR of Nov 2019, based on GCMS, our application status in Approved Status since March 2020
i.e.:
Eligibility : Passed
Security : ( Blank)
Criminality : Passed
Medical Passed
Info Sharing: Complete
Final: Approved

Few questions:
1. Since medicals have expired, shall I try to do another upfront medical examination so that we dont waste time when IRCC decides to process our application.
2. I have called IRCC , they said that there is no confirmation/ decision if our medicals will be auto extended.
3. What is IRCC's plan to process applications like ours, where AORs are in 2019 - Outland, I see in Immitracker very few outland candidates are getting PRs ,
4. I am also pessimistic , if 2012 history repeats, when application submitted before 2008 were closed.

Hi All,

My husband and I submitted my application on 30th November 2019 and the processing time was given as 30th May 2020. However, Covid happened and our PR dreams are still stuck. There has been no movement since December 2019 when we submitted our biometrics. We have been advised to take the GCMS route and check the status of our application. So I have major two questions:

1. Does GCMS help?
Apart from getting a status update, does GCMS help in expediting the process? Or bring it forward in terms of processing?

2. Is there any other option than waiting for the PR?
Covid has pushed our life plans back by 2 years. Hence we are contemplating whether going ahead with this makes any sense or not. We would actually like to go to Canada within this year otherwise forget about this whole thing altogether. But we want to explore every other option possible before we hang dry our dreams.

Would appreciate any reply/advice in our case. Thanks in advance!

Yes, I received my AOR on November 18th and still haven't heard from them due to COVID. But on my application it says they don't need any additional documents. Not sure when I will be getting a response.
Same situation with us. Do let me know if you have used GCMS notes and if it was worth it.

#1 Just requesting GCMS in itself will NOT help in expediting the process. Requesting Gcms Notes has NO bearing on the pace at which the application is processed or it's outcome. See below official statement from IRCC

#2 Waiting is the only option as there is no way to influence the process or outcome
