They are actually working. People are getting updates, there have been draws, ADRs, new application intake. However, the new PPRs have not really happened. They even updated on their website that people may face issue while submitting passports. So they should issue PPRs with a time of 90 days just like they did for ITAs.

To confirm your Permanent Resident status, please bring the following documents to the appointment (theoriginal documents are required):

• Passport, travel or identity document (including the secure visa counterfoil (IMM 1346), if applicable),
• Confirmation of PR (IMM 5688) and instructions issued by the office,

Great news! IRCC are replying thru the webform. I send an enquiry last Friday, received the reply today.Just waiting for them to schedule landing appointment for me, and whether I can come to their office provided the situation.

Do you know how long it’ll take before security is initiated?

Security takes almost 1-2 months for most of the people. As your AOR is November, I believe they will do soon.

Do they get offended when you contact them through web form? I called them last time and couldn’t get much information accept that of what is available in the account. The agent was not really helpful. Instead he said you called 3 weeks earlier too. When I called them initially the agent was helpful and advised that my eligibility and background is under process and my file is at
Sydney - Nova Scotia. It was back in late January. Since then my file is 73% complete and shows that it may take 49 days for them to complete. Which is 6 months ever since I applied for EE. Not sure, how long they would take. I hope not complete 6 months- “less Than that”.

As of your appointment is in Etobicoke, it seems you are PNP-Ontario-Inland, am not sure if you are CEC though


Last but not the least, can you please even inform what information you requested in webform?
