Notification of passport sent from consulate?--times

I am agonizing waiting for my passport to return from the NY Consulate and have to figure out if I'll need to reschedule my trip. For those of you who already received your visas, could you tell me roughly when your tracking number was activated (morning or evening)? Did you also receive a message through the MY CIC (if applying online) that your passport had been returned?

Just FYI, I applied online 3/9, got passport request 4/1, passport reached consulate 4/3. Any info is greatly appreciated!!

Hi,

I have applied online on 01/31 and got a request for passport on 03/06. Reached passport to NY on 03/11.No info from them till now.

I have sent many e-mails and faxes. Yesterday I got an e-mail saying that they have been finalized my application and will send my passport shortly.

Wow, that's a long wait!!

Has anyone that applied in the second week of March received their passports? Last news I heard were passports received on 4/16 from first-week of March applications.
