hello,

hope all is well.

I have a question about PNP. if I apply to one of the PNP programs in which it is stated that I should have intention to live there, should I move to there after having their nomination?

to let you know the story, I currently reside in Ontario and have no intention of leaving here but my points won't reach to the currect draws. I thought it's better to apply for a PNP in where my job is in demand just to get the ITA. but still don't want to leave Ontario.

can someone please advise?

Yes, you should move to that province after receiving the nomination.

If you don't, you can expect to receive a letter from the province indicating they plan to refuse you unless you can demonstrate an intent to live there.

If you aren't willing to leave Ontario, then there's really no point applying for PNP in any other province. You won't be able to demonstrate an intent to live there. Either get enough points for Express Entry direct or aim for one of the Ontario PNP programs.

thank you for your quick response.

that's sad! I am really frustrated and confused. my points won't reach the current 470is EE points and seem the only way for me is to apply for PNP although I don't wanna move. I'm settled here having a decent job. I really don't know what to do and I'm losing time. I have only 4 months left. :(

How many points do you have now? Have you maxed out your IELTS points?

Any chance your employer will let you work remotely so that you can relocate and move to a different province to live there and go through the PNP nomination there?

my current point is 394 - my IELTS result is not maxed out and is as follows:
L:8 - S:7 - W:6.5 - R:8 and CLB is: 8

I am currently working remotely but I need to ask them about that. it's actually a good idea but I don't know if they accept it.

after how long I can come back to Ontario so as not to turn on a red flag? do you know by any chance?

Once you are a PR, you can return to Ontario.

However keep in mind that PR processing can take a while. So you should plan for the possibility that you may have to be outside of Ontario for a year.

I see that BC demands my NOC. I don't have a job offer from an employer in BC but the company I am currently working for has office there.
not sure if I will be eligible for that. it's a tech-pilot program.

Your employer will have to see if it meets the requirements. The employer should show that they couldn’t hire locally. Also the company must incorporated or extra-provincially registered OR registered as a limited liability partnership in B.C. Your employer must be permanently established in B.C., as defined by the federal Income Tax Act. So talk with your employer.
