No quite sure how this works, but I need to get an IMM5409E form ("Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union") notarized for my application. I live in the States, so not sure if I can use just any notary public here, or if I need to have it notarized by a Canadian notary public somehow.

Any suggestions?

You can use any notary public near you. Sometimes you can find the services for free (your bank, for example, a library, courthouse) or for a small fee (UPS Store), but in any case it will be a LOT cheaper than in Canada.

Remember, you need to sign the document in front of the notary ...
