Hi there, I have a question re:notarized documents here. The instruction guide says the authorized person must print "I certify that this is a true copy of the original document" but ones i have here do not have a stamp with these exact wordings. They are prepared to write this, however, when they notarize the docs.

Can someone please let me know if this would work?

Thanks!

Yeah, it will work, i did it. However i dont think they should write it by a pen, use electric type instead!

i had my docs notarized and the notary write by hand the "I certify.....". It worked. I have my visa now.

Hey thanks to both of you for your responses, I will go ahead and notarize them today now that I have my question answered!!!

In India the authorised notary puts a stamp of " TRUE COPY" alongwith the stamp of the notary details such as name, reg. no. etc and signs it in original. This itself means it is true copy of original docs.and it is acceptable to the chc ND
