For CSQ:

The documents checklist mentions 'Certified true copy' as required for things like Birth certificate, diploma, etc. I don't have the time to get my marksheets certified as true copies from my university and colleges so can I just submit notarized copies for the same instead?

Also, salary certificate instead of payslips are OKAY?

yes its fine,
As long as its with red ink and with a proper norery stamps (gov authorised stamp)

God Bless,
Kavya

Agree with Kavya on the notary part.

Salary certificate and payslips are one and the same in my opinion.

With birth certificate its fine....
but regarding education you have to put the certified true copy in the sealed envelop of university..Mate i would recommend you not to send notarized copy better to send attested copy in sealed university envelop...the choice is yours after all you are busy...

I recommend Salary slips of 1 year with your bank account showing that amount will fasten us process and required less job verification , include as much evidence that u doing job if you really doing it.

Regarding marksheets- again try to get official certified copy from university sealed envelop .

If you doing above then your process will be fast because it need less amount of verification from CIC to check genuenty of docs.

Rest all on what you can provide as per your convenience .

All the best .

My poor university just denied to provide certified true copy, they said that they dont provide this but we could do notorized which is the only way, AND NOW? Is that really OK? I believe it will be the same from School.

Generally University and school will attest the copy you can still send the notarized one but cic/vo will ask on later stage to submit the original transcript and mark sheet...

I too have same confusion... right now I am in Montreal and I have done my education from India... so its almost impossible to get the Certified True Copies from the Universities in India.

can anybody please provide some valuable information, for Applying the CSQ

Thanks

yes you can submit the notarized copy. only ielts and pcc has to submit original. salary certificate or job contract work fine.
