Notarization Process for Documents

Hi

I am facing a problem with my employee reference letters as my organization is shut.hence i am planning to get reference letter from my previous co worker and get it notarized.I am from India and dont know what is the exact process of notarization.Anyone else going through the same scenario.

I think the employment reference letters written in English do not need to be notarised. Only the translated documents to be notarised. Where you heard notarisation is required for employment ref letters?

@caseeker this is what i found going through some topics from other posts on this forum

I am a bit clueless whether i need to notarize the reference letter or only providing reference letter from colleague

alongwith additional supplementary documents such as offer letter , experience letter ,pay slips would suffice.
