Notarised mark sheets VS university transcripts

Every CHC office is asking for University transcripts in sealed envelope, i believe it is nothing but degree market sheets , If that is the case then notarised copy of mark sheets will serve the purpose ?? I am staying out of Indian, for getting university transcripts i need to send all originals and it may take 2 or 3 weeks time. Since I am short of time to respond my 120 days letter, i am looking for alternate options
Any senior member can clarify this ? What would be consequences in worst case ??

From what I have heard that immigration clerks have set parameters on basis of which they allocate marks to your application and believe me or not,sealed stamped transcripts actually mean sealed ones.

I would strongly suggest that you ask any friend of yours to go to university and get this stuff.Most of universities have quick(a.k.a tatkal) service available to get transcripts-they would just charge some higher fees for the same

Can I send other documents first with explanation about Transcripts , so that it can be forwarded later , or it will be taken as not submitting documnets and decsion will be taken accordingly

i've heard of only 1 person till date who chose to give notarised copy of transcripts rather than original transcripts.
