Hi there,

I entered the country using one of the primary inspection kiosks and forgot to ask for a stamp.

I know that I get 6 months as per the CSBA link here.

"If your passport is not stamped, you are only authorized to stay in Canada for up to 6 months from the day you initially entered Canada, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first."

My inland PR application is asking for proof of my legal status, is it enough to explain this on paper?

One other option is to apply for an extension but that feels like an unnecessary $100 spent just to get physical documentation.

Any help appreciated!

An explanation is fine. Passports are often not stamped. IRCC will be able to see your entry in the system.
