Not receiving emails from ircc despite updates

So I have submitted my profile and got my aor through my profile and in the system but have not received any emails from cic. I didn’t receive them when I created the profile either.
I know that usually that’s not the case since I made a profile before and in that case I did receive the emails. They were of a different email account so could that be the case? If so is there any way I can change the email address for my application to the old one?
